I neeeedddd hellp!!!

guys im not smart :( lol i tried wiring up my lpb1 last night and its not working when i throw the switch i can adjust volume and thats all that happens but when i turn it off its the same volume. and i am using a dpdt toggle instead of a dpdt slider. is there a difference in the way in which i have to wire up the lugs? im just very very frustrated right now and i want to at least get the first one done so i can just look at it and get the other 4 done too thanks!:mad:

To be on the safe side,measure and write down which lugs are connected to each other in both positions of the toggle switch.

How would I go about doing this?
