Plug ins [Archive] - Telecaster Guitar Forum

I’m looking for a nice plug-in to use with my M-audio oxygen 25. I been looking on line and found Motu Mach Five 3 and the at guitar center the salesman gave me a demonstration of Spectronics Omnisphere . Bothe of these are really nice except the price $400 to $500. I do have the pro tools 9 plug ins and Native instruments Kore Electronic Experience kind of a sample of their stuff. I also looked on line at Sample tank it seems pretty interesting the ST 2XL is about $200 at GC. more the price I’d like to stay in. So does anybody have experience with Sample Tank? Or any suggestions on other products ? Looking more for keyboard and synth sounds.

I got the free version of SampleTank a while back and, while it didn't have the array of instruments the full version does (only 500 MB, as opposed to 6.5 GB in in the XL version), I liked the sounds. The interface is a bit weird and IIRC, the registration/activation process was pretty elaborate, but I never had any complaint about the samples themselves.
