Oops.. We got caught last night flat footed at a gig when we got a request to play some Christmas songs, and we just couldn't do it, we didn't know any.
So for next time I think we're gona learn Jingle Bell Rock and maybe John Lennon's And So This Is Christmas (minus the War is Over part).
Do you have any Christmas songs in your lineup for this time of year?

I did a trio gig last year for a Christmas party, and found this was a handy book to have along:

John Prine's 'Silent Night All Night Long' handles a little twang well.

I heard it on the radio this morning and couldn't stop laughing. "I'll bring sugar plums and my candy cane." Uh-huh.
