Art & Lutherie Ami - Pickup Ideas? Success? [Archive]

Hey Everyone,

I recently picked up an Art & Lutherie Ami parlor size guitar and I really love it. I’m curious if anyone has had any luck installing a soundhole pickup such as a Dearmond, Fishman, etc. I’ve searched extensively and see that a few people have posted experiences, but I can’t really tell what the final results were. I’m going for a bluesy slide tone and not trying to replicate a natural acoustic sound.

If anybody has any direct experience they can share (pics would be great!) it would be appreciated.

Has anyone installed a pickup in one of these little guys?
