Just saw a pedal in music mag......apparently you put your I-pad in there
to run it...and voila...state of the art multi-pedals......... That is so smart....the first beer that someone from the dance floor spills in there..and....#&*^$% funn....

Spilling beer on any gear is bad in my book.

But yeah, that does look a bit silly. I mean its like $400 and it needs some other (more expensive) device in order to control it. I know it's supposed to work without it but you couldn't edit presets or really even know what's going on! I think they would've been better off making it cost more and develop a touchscreen that was built-in. I don't like how they mooched off if the iPad. It will only last as long as the iPad stays relevant and consistent in its design (ie the new iPhone). Bad move imho

Cool pedal, just not for a gigging musician. More of a hobby pedal

I don't use one, however, you can create your pedal settings using the iPad, and then remove the iPad for gigs.

For foreign gigs where he can't bring his rig, Adrian Belew is using a Mac Book Pro on tour. He seems happy with it. He just programs his midi pedal to trigger patches and loops as needed.
