Hey everyone!
Last time I checked in I was a Texas resident and played all over the Texas Hill country and up and down to the coast and back.
I've relocated to Branson, MO. I moved here with some good contacts and managed to pick up a theater show in the first month that I moved here. Found some part time work and been woodshed'n big time. This has been the best step for me for music ever!
The Theater show that I've picked up is The Jukebox Journey at the Icon Theater. It's the only 50/60's rock show in town. Currently we are off till December 6th-10th(6pm) and 26th-New Years(8pm).
This Theater has given me the biggest opportunity that I never believed that I'd experience! I'm now playing till December 10th(8pm) for the Famous Chubby Checker!
I feel so blessed to play behind such an awesome showman and work with his music director/saxophonist, Tommy C.
I'm getting calls for sub gigs now, as well.
I've stepped up my level of playing greatly. Went form improvised nights to doing the same show every night! I'm reading charts now and have my gf, an excellent fiddle player for Joey Riley, kicking my butt and teaching me harmony theory!
I'll keep y'all posted and if there's any TDPers in the area, I'll get ya in my shows for free!
