Question about 2n4241 Transistors

I want to build a Fuzz face pedal. I salvaged five or six 2n4241 Amperex transistors from an old stereo. I looked them up online and found info saying they are pnp Germanium. They are rather large and look like the one in the pic. Does anyone know whether they can be used in the Fuzz face ? Can they be used in any other kind of pedal? Thanks in advance for any info you all can provide.

i have no idea if there are any builds where they can or cannot be used, but you can certainly try them. if you don't like the result it's not like other transistors that will work in your build are prohibitively expensive.

That´s a power transistor.That is not something you use in a guitar pedal.
