I need a song about/for Saint Loius for a gig tonight!!!

Hey ya'll, we are gigging tonight at a sports bar. If Texas wins we're gonna launch right in to China Grove (cause we know it) right when the final out is recorded. But if Saint Louis wins we need some equivalent song. I can't really think of anything other than Saint Louis Blues, and I'm not sure that would do it. Anybody out there from Saint Louis? Is there some rocking song out there that the city or the Cardinals fans really resonate with? Thanks!

Any Cardinals fan from St Louis has 1 song that they relate to the Cardinals winning a World Series. That would be Celebration by Kool and the Gang. It was the song played over the loud speakers after they won the 1982 world Series. If you ask any St Louisian what song they relate to a Cardinal World Series that would be it. Another good song though is The Heat is On by Glenn Frey.

Thanks ya'll! Well we wound up breaking right around the bottom of the 8th. At that point it seemed pretty certain Saint Lou was going to win. I quickly taught everyone that Fogerty song Centerfield, and we tore into that as soon as the Cards scored the last out. The place was packed...probably 200 people...which is a big crowd for us. Honestly probably two other people in the place gave a darn about the game besides me...this is Washington DC where if it's not the Yankees or the Red Sox nobody even cares. In retrospect, if I were a Cards fan it probably would have been me, cooler of beer, TV, locked in a closet rather than out in a bar for that one.
