Vox 33 guitar anyone play one?

Anyone play or own one?

I have tried out a few Voxes but I don't know what models they were.

I was quite underwhelmed... they all felt kind of unsubstantial, switches were clanky, the different sounds were not so different...

They felt a lot cheaper than they were...

I really wanted to like them since the concepts seems really nice on paper but after trying them out I happily went home to the guitars I already own...

I played one a few weeks ago at a dealer. I thought it was a well constructed and nicely rendered guitar and everything worked as advertised. You might like it. I also thought sonically it was trying to be too many things at once and wasn't necessarily the best of whatever world it was trying to occupy (did that make sense?). I don't usually use words like "mojo", but it struck me as kinda soulless. I also perfer a slightly fatter neck. YMMV.

I have played them. No bad, not great. I wouldn't buy one at this point.
