Got a call last week from a former band mate he was in a jam. Since the band hung it up last spring he had been doing a duo thing with his brother. They had booked a Birthday party gig at a local ball room. Then his bro had to have emergency back surgery.
So he asked if me and the other guys would help him out. I said sure if the others are in you can count on me.
Wed night we hooked up to blow off the dust and I have to say it was the most fun i have had with those guys in the longest time. We just rolled through the material, nice and tight, smiles all around.
Maybe because there was no pressure, just helping out a buddy, but it was a hoot.
Really looking forward to Sat.night.
