Recently finished restoring this 90s Epiphone

This thing was a real dog when I picked it up on the cheap. A few new parts and some TLC later, here we go:

That looks really good, very Albert King.

I think what really let those down were the pickups, every single one I played sounded terrible.

I put GFS Alnico IIs in this one. I like them, they don't clash with my teles like high-output humbuckers tend to.

I have painted one guitar....I bought a Saga Tele kit abs tried to paint and gloss coat a naked Tele.

I didn't do so well. You did great.

Has a nice full sound. Good looking and a bit road worn which I like.

Thanks guys but it's the factory finish. It is definitely road worn, but naturally so. All I did was replace...everything. :lol:
