Always fancied getting a Danelectro but never had chance to play one. Saw one in a shop for £80, not bad really considering what they go for new and used on ebay. It looks to be a first reissue Korean model. I like the fact that it has the correct headstock shape not the one with the bite out like I've seen on the Double cuts. It also has the Rosewood saddle.

You can see me in the reflection :)
First impressions:
The colour looks better in real life, I never would have thought a black U2 would look this good.
The rosewood fretboard actually looks good quality with an attractive grain.
It's light weight and resonant unplugged due to the chambered cheapo construction.
Plugged in clean sounds are very good. The volume boost with both pick ups on is cool.
Distortion tones are craptastic.
General set up is pretty good, even though the bridge has started to sag a little in the middle. Intonation is ok, but not great (what would you expect?)
It's a keeper!
