Beginner Attempting to Rewire a Tele

I just started playing guitar a few months ago and I've recently been given a nearly-gutted electric "Kustom Kasino" guitar, modeled as a tele. It still has the pickups, but the control plate and jack have been removed. I went ahead and ordered an Economy Wiring Kit (http://guitarpartsresource.com/electrical_kitstele.htm) from guitarpartsresource.com thinking I'd invest a small amount of cash to see if I could get this working again.

The kit arrived and I'm not sure which diagram to follow to rewire this thing (it didn't come with one). I've looked online and can't seem to find a diagram which matches both the wiring from the pickups as well as the parts from the kit. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Here's a picture of the wiring from the pickups:

If you can't quite make it out, there's two wires coming from the neck pickup (black & white), and three wires coming from the bridge (black, white & green).

Finally, if you didn't want to follow the link, the wiring kit included:

(2) 250k full size split shaft pots
(1) 3-way switch with round black tip
(1) 1/4" mono jack
(1) 4 ft. each black/white poly wire
(1) .047mfd ceramic tone capacitor.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Sorry, the picture's too dark to see the wires.

This one from Seymour Duncan will work great. The stagger of the tabs on your switch may be different, but don't worry about it. It'll still work the same way.

I would guess the whites to the switch, blacks ( and bridge green) to the back of a pot, as well as the black from the output jack, like the diagram Koko posted there.

Make sure the jack "tip" wire is the one that comes from the vol. pot.

Good Luck and take your time !

I followed the diagram KokoTele posted and everything went relatively smoothly. Not the best sounding guitar out there, but at least I have something to learn with.

Thank you all so much!

You did take that "3rd" wire from the bridge, the green one, and ground with the other grounds on the back of a pot, right?

Yes, they went on the back of the volume control like in the diagram. Unless that's incorrect?

No, you're good.

I did not see that ground in the diagram, but it is there. I was just asking to make sure you didn't miss it.

Ah I see. Thanks for double-checking!
