I talked with Tony and David about the Cheetas sound/tone and have a set on the way. They should make a world of difference on my '60s neck pup. Looking forward to the change.

Got the Cheetas installed today and I'm stoked! I was looking mainly at the neck pup and the tones I could get from it. It truely was better than I had imagined. After talking with David about what I was going for tonewise he inclosed a .033uF cap to wire into the tone pot and initial trials show it to have excellant control from a little punch to awesome blues tones and even some jazz tones at the lower register. The tone control works from 10 to 2, much better than the 10 to 8 the stock Fender .022uF cap offered.
The big suprise was how clean the bridge pup is. I'm using a Goodsell Unibox 10 amp tube amp which produces super clean sound and the pup is much better than the stock 60s pup, Super Twang!
I'm still dialing things in but the initial trial has been awesome.
I'd like to add that Tony Sims and David Allen are two of the greatest guys I've come across in a long time. Tony was honest in his apprasial and great to talk to and David went beyond the call of duty answering all my questions. The product he offers is top shelf and his professionalism is outstanding. My hat's off to both of them.
