Planning my first partscaster

Hello everyone!

I wanted to share with you the plan for my first partscaster. I decided to build one, because I'd like to try out a Trem King in a telecaster.

Most important elements planned to buy:
- alder body with a maple cap,
- rosewood neck, 10 radius,
- trem king,
- electronics with a 5-way superswitch and reversed control plate,
- tonerider pickups (at least initially).

I attach pictures of the body and the neck, had a chance to see those in person and check out a partscaster done with them - very good quality.

Nice body & neck! Please take pictures of your work, it should be interesting to watch.

Very nice! I finished my partscaster recently. It's my favorite until I finish my next build...LOL.

After some TDPRI discussion, I am going with the T-style Stetsbar bridge - managed to get a decent deal on one, though I have to wait. I ordered a set of Keystones, too.
So, next week I'll be picking up all the hardware except for the bridge and pickups, which will be up to a 1-month wait.

Yesterday I picked up the parts, so I have everything except for the bridge and pickups. I guess I'll wait for the bridge before doing some serious work, so in the meantime I might just install the tuners and start working on the nut.
Seems like the pickguard I got is a bit off in terms of fitting the body (although I suspect the body to be the actual problem). I don't mind the body not following standard tele measurements, but need to check for it to avoid any surprises down the road.
Pictures following soon!
