This is some tasty stuff on Dave's old Broadcaster. A nice tribute to Elvis

Didn't think they ever did sunburst finishes on the original Broadcasters? Nice stuff. I believe Bill's group does some touring in Europe. Interesting to note Albert gently using his twang bar and playing tasteful rhythm. Swang on, Jethro September 22nd, 2011, 02:26 PM My mistake....it's actually a 55 Esquire that was given to Dave by Seymour Duncan himself. Dave had it fitted with a neck pickup.....of course by Seymour Duncan. Apparently he used it on "Run Like Hell" and "Young Lust" from The Wall. It was used again quite a bit on his solo albums. I read that there were only a handful of sunburst finishes released in 55 Great guitar!!! |
