Ol'Tinear September 17th, 2011, 03:24 PM This is silly. There is no way you can get a bunch of like minded Telecaster fanatics to post the word Telecaster in a Telecaster thread on a Telecaster forum.
Just stupid!Sheeesh.

LiveAtLeeds September 17th, 2011, 03:32 PM The threads in this Telecaster forum that aren't about Telecasters or playing Telecasters tend to be a little silly.

Bolide September 17th, 2011, 04:13 PM A million Telecaster posts would make a heck-of-a long fence.
A real short fence, but a real long one.
silentechoes September 17th, 2011, 04:27 PM I don't have time for this idle crap.... I'm too busy looking to buy my first Telecaster.

You are correct, it is the "Telecaster Discussion Page Re-Issued".
I have corrected my previous post to read "Telecaster Discussion Page Re-Issued".
Thank you for your correction. Being willing to admit to error is part of being a good visitor to The Telecaster Page Re-Issued, imho.

tele salivas September 17th, 2011, 09:12 PM I see, so it was Scotland who invented the '99 bottles of beer on the wall' song! Oh , hell...telecaster!
telemaster1953 September 17th, 2011, 09:44 PM to reach a million were all going to have to say telecaster like a lot:lol:
candybluecrook September 17th, 2011, 10:41 PM I'm going to name my telecaster tele. And i will love it always lol. Wait only a fender can be a telecaster, so i only have a tele, or is it t style? Ah to heck with it. Telecaster

Scotland September 18th, 2011, 05:00 AM You can re-post Telecaster as many times as you like. This is a Telecaster forum so posting Telecaster words as often as you like is acceptable on a Telecaster forum.
Telecaster.

Telecaster
TG September 18th, 2011, 05:09 AM Sorry, but I've got better things to do than type the word 'telecaster' for a pointless thread.
grabacr 31770 September 18th, 2011, 05:19 AM I doubt this thread will succeed. I mean, posting 'Telecaster' a million times seems a touch. Especially when it's blatantly Leo's inferior design.
(jokes, its the best)
Also, Esquire.
AJBaker September 18th, 2011, 05:51 AM So I guess we'll all have to post telecaster several times to hit a million.
TG September 18th, 2011, 06:02 AM What happens to the thread if some scoundrel posts without the word 'telecaster'?
Does it grind to a halt?
Perhaps the thread should include a curse upon any person who commits such a heinous deed.
Let us all wish it to be so...

jule553648 September 18th, 2011, 07:02 AM Q: What’s the difference between a LesPaul and a SG?
A: Who cares – neither one’s a Telecaster.
Q: What’s the difference between a lawnmower and a Telecaster?
A: You can tune a lawnmower.
Q: What would a Telecaster player do if he won a million dollars?
A: Continue to play gigs until the money ran out.
Q: What do a guitar solo and premature ejaculation have in common?
A: You know it’s coming and there’s nothing you can do about it.
garyd5158 September 18th, 2011, 07:22 AM I got my very own telecaster and I will hug him and squeeze him and name him George. Not a telecaster George, oh you are a very bad telecaster George, I will have to spank you George, for not being a telecaster.
Cixelsyd September 18th, 2011, 09:55 AM Gahhghaghhah telecaster
Cixelsyd September 18th, 2011, 09:56 AM also, sorry. telecaster.
AJBaker September 18th, 2011, 10:16 AM So, according to complicated mathematics I just worked out in my head, we should hit a million telecaster posts sometime in early 2014...

Hitting a million Telecaster posts could seriously dent a bumper.

Jack Wells September 18th, 2011, 03:46 PM Okay, lets get this one off the ground and see how quickly...or slowly...we reach one million posts with the word TELECASTER in it.Has anyone done the math on this? The thread's been going for just over a day and has around 80 posts. Let's say you average 80 posts per day (I think the number will decrease).
1,000,000 / 80 = 12,500
12,500 / 365 = 34 years, 90 days
Hate to burst your bubble. I'll add one ..... Telecaster..... but I don't think it's going to happen. Good luck.

1,000,000 / 80 = 12,500
12,500 / 365 = 34 years, 90 days
Hate to burst your bubble. I'll add one ..... Telecaster..... but I don't think it's going to happen. Good luck.

I believe some of you have misread the original post. I've quoted a portion of it above. It doesn't say use the word "Telecaster" a million times but a million posts with the word TELECASTER in it. And besides, that is the only way to keep count.
I still say 34 years or more. Good chance I won't be around. However, I think after a while this thread will fade into oblivion like all the others do eventually.

Well stated, hana is spelled 하나.
You should try learning the written script! Although a few of the vowels are a bit hard for us English speakers to enunciate at first, lots of folks don't realize Korean is actually a very well-developed alphabet that is not only less than 600 years old, it's also extremely easy to learn.

Yep, It's kinda like playing the same lick over and over isn't it? Telecaster
Good Iron
PS: A million posts is gonna take a long time and then there is the accuracy of the actual count (some people have already not posted the word Telecaster in their post) ...this is what I was trying to convey... along with a (only my opinion) waste of bandwidth. I mean the telecaster has six strings (mostly), at least two pick ups, a varied tone, and many a wonderful possibility. TelECaster
Just to reach a million anything is a WOW moment... I understand the OP in this "goal" --- I was just trying to show the irony of such an effort. I dunno, maybe it could happen…
The suggestion of photos or any discussion of ...Telecaster has much more valor than just posting the word.
I own a wonderful Y2K AVRI that is, by any standard, an exceptional guitar, and this is a fact. Now I sound like I am bragging and I don’t like that. But the guitar is very stock and has 10’s on it --- very bland by description … Except when you hit it, with or without amp… doesn’t matter. I believe (so shoot me) that I have the Telecaster everybody wants. She is perfect in every way. I have tons of proof in those who have heard my… Telecaster.
Interested in where this one goes… Telecaster

TG September 20th, 2011, 08:28 AM The Hobbit, or There and Back Again, better known by its abbreviated title The Hobbit, is a fantasy novel and children's book by J. R. R. Tolkien. It was published on 21 September 1937 to wide critical acclaim, being nominated for the Carnegie Medal and awarded a prize from the New York Herald Tribune for best juvenile fiction. The book remains popular and is recognized as a classic in children's literature.
Set in a time "Between the Dawn of Færie and the Dominion of Men",[1] The Hobbit follows the quest of home-loving hobbit Bilbo Baggins to win a share of the telecaster guarded by the dragon, Smaug. Bilbo's journey takes him from light-hearted, rural surroundings into darker, deeper territory.[2] The story is told in the form of an episodic quest, and most chapters introduce a specific creature, or type of creature, of Tolkien's Wilderland. By accepting the disreputable, romantic, fey and adventurous side of his nature (the "Tookish" side) and applying his wits and common sense, Bilbo develops a new level of maturity, competence and wisdom.[3] The story reaches its climax in the Battle of Five Armies, where many of the characters and creatures from earlier chapters re-emerge to engage in conflict.
Themes of personal growth and forms of heroism figure in the story. Along with conflict, these themes lead critics to cite Tolkien's own experiences, and those of other writers who fought in World War I, as instrumental in shaping the story. The author's scholarly knowledge of Anglo-Saxon literature and interest in fairy tales are also often noted as influences.
Due to the book's critical and financial success, Tolkien's publishers requested a sequel. As work on The Lord of the Rings progressed, Tolkien made retrospective accommodations for it in one chapter of The Hobbit. These few but significant changes were integrated into the second edition. Further editions followed with minor emendations, including those reflecting Tolkien's changing concept of the world into which Bilbo stumbled.
