Yup...no telecaster. Got a bunch of other guitars including a Gibson LP Junior Special which I find has become my main onstage guitar.
I never used teles at home anyway...only onstage...so they just sat under the bed.
So swapped them away.

Also have had hand/wrist trouble and the ergonomics of a tune-a-matic bridge seem to suit me better.
But joints are getting better lately (stopped eating fruit...something to do with fruit sugars and acids, it seems) so might get a tele again if one turns up.

Funny how people change.

The name is going to change, but I don't know to what yet... it will come when it arrives. Things like that just happen. The reason for the name change is that another guitar is assuming the name because because because....

because of the wonderful things it does...

The Telecaster is a masterful thing and it doesn't care what name you name it, it doesn't care if you play it, it jdc.

Another Use for a Telecaster:
Tamworth Telecaster Lamington - remove Telecaster neck and hardware, dip in a vat of chocolate icing and coat generously with coconut. Reassemble and hang on guitar rack to dry.

Telecaster I use weighs in at seven pounds and I bought an after market Japanese neck plate for it cuz my youngest likes the image on the plate... I haven't put it on yet.

It is purely cosmetic and if it doesn't change the awesomeness of the guitar I will "mod" it in this way. If the tone is compromised then... bye bye to it.

Yes I suppose the "word" Telecaster is a prerequisite to page fifty as page 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11_12,13, 14,__ 15,__ 16,___ 17,____ 18,_____ 19,_____20, --- 10,000, ad.lib, were/are. A Telecaster played through any Fender Electric Instruments MFG. Co. tweed covered amp should be experienced at least once in ones lifetime in my opinion... It's kinda like jumping out of a plane but way much better! and a whole lot safer mostly... :cool:

Over 20 posts for me this fine morning... I am working today and it will be on a Stratocaster I think?... I know, I know.... sacrilege but the vibrato is a necessary component (or at least easier <- yeah am I wimpy?) to this thing... I might do the ol push and yank on the Telecaster and see how that goes. :idea:

One of the better guitar players I played with in my early twenties was a guy named Timmy Teele and I am not sure he is alive - destructive dude. He played left handed on a right hand guitar, good writer as well. He didn't play a Telecaster, or maybe he did.... I was pretty self-absorbed - some things haven't change have they? :razz:

Teelcaster got me going on that.... I see you have corrected the typo.

I'm sure I heard a Telecaster guitar in tonight's Super Bowl half time show. It was not seen but certainly heard. What a lot of work for 12 minutes... my opinion it paid off. She did good. :cool:

As with any Madonna adventure (This is only my opinion) there is just too much going on for my brain to process all at once. I was in Vegas and I at the last minute went to her show and my brain just basically shut down. Way too much going on for a simple mind like mine.
