I love my Telecaster but I have been glued to my Nashguitars hardtail S-63 recently, so much good sound out of that one; but I just picked up my wonderful Telecaster the "7 pound wonder" and (well too late for amplification so I just played a while unplugged) and wow what a great Telecaster is mine. I don't mean to boast but it is an extraordinary Tele that "7 pound wonder". The Nashguitars S-63 also weighs in at seven pounds but the name is already taken. I "sorta" name my guitars... most are just really no imagination like "the Guild" sorta just sticks, like the "green one" cause it is green.
The Nashguitars guitar is wild... is it the "wild one" or the "untamed", I thought of Mustang like the wild horse but that is already a Fender model. No rush to name but it will come or not. Anyway a little more than simply "Telecaster" in this the Telecaster... lets make it to a million posts. Long way to go huh?
Well we got a 1000 to look forward to... wheeee!

Maybe I'll name it Wally after Brando's best friend... like I said maybe it will come to me or maybe it won't. Carry on...

so... Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays and what every else Merry and Happy there is for you and to all a happy Telecaster!

What have I done today? Went down town with my 3 year old son, got a little shopping, stopped in cafe for coffee and apple juice, went to the electrical shop to order a new washing machine, came home, entertained the in-laws for 4 hours, played with the kids for 7 hours and then heated some tinned soup for my wife who's ill in bed with the flu!

Hopefully before the night is finished I'll find a little time to play my TELECASTER (unplugged of course!)

Logged in to say good night to some and good morning to others and of course Telecaster. But as long as I have you, thinking of raising the action on my... well you know, but I been playing it a lot unplugged. Maybe I should plug in and re-visit and see if it is worth the hassle, the string height has never been a problem and quite to the contrary very much to my liking and satisfaction (I run 10’s on her). My Artist series Stratocaster on the other hand (Eric Clapton) has been giving me nothing but fits, the output jack is all whack and the neck pickup (wiring-at least I hope it is a solder joint!) is not working again; to top it all off I unblocked the tremolo and I am having trouble there for some reason, I can't for the life of me figure it out. I really love the EC neck and the guitar is amazing, but it periodically decides to fall apart. I fix it or have it fixed and it last for a good long while and then… Kaput. If the guitar didn't sound so good and feel great it would be out the window. The trem bar might be because I have heavy bottom light top Ernie Balls on it. I love the low end so if this is the issue with the bar I will go heavier on the top to even it up, but I am at a loss. I know wrong place, wrong forum, and the wrong thread. Love my Telecaster though, aside from the funky output holder mechanism which is hanging in there and a non-issue it sounds just incredible and plays pretty dang good… 52AVRI Y2K by the way. I guess it is a two or three piece but I could swear it is a one piece. I can not find a seam and the grain goes across what would be a center (or otherwise) glue joint. WOW! long post… haven’t done that in a while! Good morning, good afternoon, and good night!
