72 RI Telecaster Deluxe - pickguard colour

Hello everyone!

i just bought a new telecaster deluxe body in the 3 color sunburst and i was wondering which pickguard colour would look good on it.

Most images i have seen on google images seem to have a black pickguard but i was wondering if you guys had any other suggestions.. something a little different.

or just upload pictures of your sunburst deluxes with a pickguard that isnt black!

You said "Sunburst", I'm assuming amber to red. I would go white or white perloid. If the very outside is brown or black then maybe the tortise color. Very tough question without a picture to judge.

Have you ever tried www.greasygroove.com? They have all kinds of pickguards. All the usuals and tons with all kinds of graphics. Just a thought
