It seem that the Weber Smokin' Joe II shematic have somthing in common, but i'm not an expert. Thank's. printer2 September 4th, 2011, 11:08 PM The line out is just a couple of resistors. I read online some people talking the new PJ just has some new cosmetics compared to the old one but nothing certain. The Smokin' Joe does use the same tubes but rather than fixed bias like the PJ it is cathode biased. The BJ has the two 12AX7 triodes in line with each other, the first one feeding the second. The Smokin' Joe has the triodes arranged in a configuration where they act as one and take on the characteristics of a pentode. They are definitely two different amps. cocoboudin September 7th, 2011, 09:04 AM The line out is just a couple of resistors. I know that the PJ just sound awsome, i'm just wondering if the weber Smokin' Joe II sound just has awsome has the PJ. |
