Anybody get their 50th Anniversary Casino yet?

I keep checking with my store but it seems like they're not even in Canada yet. How sad.:sad:

At least someone (from Upside Down and Backwards World) has finally posted a couple pretty decent YouTube clips of the guitar. I think it sounds great. Have a listen.

Every Casino fan should play a MIJ Historic Series, you owe it to yourself.

But I like the sound he's getting.

I'm not sure if I have even seen one of these, but it sounds like a great one.

I like the royal tan finish, but I prefer the headstock shape on the more traditional models.
I've had the "natural" finished model for longer than I care to think.

The central Dallas GC had one or two on the wall last Friday.

Love that planky tone, and the headstock is way cool IMO.

A few years ago I wanted a Melody Maker and the guy at L&M told me that HJ said no MM for Canada. So Maybe in light of recent events he decided to do the same for the Casinos.

I had one ordered to be my 50th birthday present but I used the 'credit' towards a 57 Deluxe amp instead.
Pity I couldn't get both but budget didn't allow.

Nope. They're coming. I've put money down on one and I know one other guy who has one on order. We're just last in line, that's all. But I guess Gibson's plans could change and they wouldn't have to consult me, would they.
