I have two - a '66 s-style Candy Apple red and a '60s t-style Lake Placid blue relic. Two of the very nicest guitars I've ever played. Anyone else?

Really? Nobody else owns any of these incredible instruments? That's UNBELEIVABLE, and you really don't know what you're missing!

There is a guitar shop about a mile away from where I live that carries K-line guitars. Yes, they are fantastic. However, they are WAY out of my price range.

For what you get (the equivalent of a custom shop guitar at half the price) they are EXTREMELY affordable. I got a guitar built to my specs with superior parts, and it was well under two grand. You also find them used, that's where I picked up the tele. Chris is one of the best builders in the business, and just a great guy to work with. Can't recommend him enough.

Just as a note, the S and T style clones are no longer available. The necks on these mainly came from Allparts and USACG if a custom spec was called for. About 4 years ago I dove into the CNC world and started producing my own necks and bodies and have never looked back. I just want people to understand that a parts guitar is not what K-Line represents any longer. All are made in house with only the highest quality raw materials.

What is the build time for one of your guitars?

Varies from 12-20 weeks depending on dealer load.

I played a K-Line Springfield (strat) and was blown away with the guitar especially the neck.

I have a Logan strat and a Logan Tele and they are awesome too---otherwise my next guitar was going to be a k-line. If gas hits me hard I know it will be a k-line for me.

Well I guess i'll join the club. I recently got a blonde truxton and have barely put it down. I absolutely love it. And the post that said i can't believe more people don't have these is correct. They are high quality guitars with excellent playability. I mean mine is smooooooth, brother. Heres a link for a pix of mine. http://www.rt7music.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/0/2/025_2.jpg

Poor photography, but just got my first K-Line this week

Fantastic guitar. Agree with others - the playability is smoooooth. Great fretwork and super smooth neck finish, love the rolled fingerboard edges. I went with the Lollar Vintage neck/Special bridge combo and it sounds great.

Zounds Perspex, nice color choice

Very Nice!! My Tele is the same color. My 72 Truxton came thursday. Really hard too put down. I'm with you on the neck and fingerboard it flat out feels great. I have the Lollar speacial in the bridge also, Regal in the neck. The tones you can get out of this thing is crazy. I went with the closet klassic finish, Chris did a great job it really looks like a 40yr old GTR. Congrats fella's on your new K-Lines!!!

Congrats, hope you have some time off. You won't want to leave the house. I know from experience! Chris builds a mean guitar.
