Anybody talk with Charlie McVey lately?

I have been leaving voice mails on his machine since Thursday and can't seem to get him on the phone. I'm trying to check up on him and see how his eye is doing. He got a bit of metal in his eye while in the shop and has put him behind on work. My job is going on four months now and I'm getting antsy.

Thanks for your concern, I really appreciate it. I was seeing double and my depth perception was real messed up.
I had an eye operation and I am doing ok. I had to get new glasses to try and correct my right eye vision.

I'm sorry about any inconvenience I may have caused you or any of my customer's who have been very patent with me over this freak accident.I'm running way behind and I'm just now getting back on track with my vision. I have another machine shop making some parts for me to get me back up and running.

The reason you could not get me was my cell phone went south Thursday and I got a touch screen phone and that didn't work out and I went back to the old style cell phone today with regular buttons. It was turned on at 3:00 pm today. I'll call you tomorrow.

I am so glad to hear that you are doing a little better now Charlie. I Thank you again for modifying that Bill Bores saddle bender to work properly. It was a great gesture to happily fix a competitors work.

I have since sold that guitar and have a new tele build done that I would like to get a single short throw b bender put in by you when you fell better and get caught up.

i was in touch with him a week or so back - he's doing some work on a tele bridge plate for me that i bought from Callaham Guitar Parts. He's modifying it so it'll fit the G-Bender that he installed on my tele 3 years ago.

How much is one of Charlies installs? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that they are $750 for single bender and about $1500 for a double. I talked to Charlie last week and his work load vs. When I will have the money are just about right. I am sending my flame top tele for a short throw B bender when I get my income tax return in Feb. Hooray!
