I had a dream last night that I was playing bass and I had the 2 x 10 cab several feet away from the 1 x 15 cab running biamped. Have any of you ever experimented with seperating your sub and your full range cabs?
Now I need to figure out what the bass was I was playing and see if it really exists.

Not sure if I'm a candidate. I'm running a 1 x 15 amp with all the treble and mids turned down but the sub bass and bass frequencies quite high. I use a stereo delay pedal to feed one half of the bass signal to the bass amp and the rest of the signal goes to my HH 2 x 12 guitar combo with all the bass rolled off. I find that the HH being quite a warm '70s amp carries the treble and mids quite well... with stereo delay and the amps quite far apart you get an interesting sound.
Actually in fits of paranoia I have to turn down one or other amp sometimes to make sure the other is working as the sound blends quite well.

Sounds interesting. I use an Ashly BP-41 Bass Preamp that has a built in crossover. I need to experiment with effects after the crossover. Maybe I'll pull the ol' SPX 90 and stereo comp out of the PA rack for a while and see what I can come up with.

No... I like splitting cab's on a big stage, but while my rig can be biamped, each cab is biamped. I want the guys to my right to hear what I am hearing over on the left...
