Hi all, just started playing a bit of slide again in a new band and as the few I'm doing seem to go down well the band have asked me to throw a few more in.
I play in open G so any good rockin' or bluesy song recommendations would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Allman Brothers " Statesboro Blues", "One way out". I've also done " Rocky Mountain Way" by Joe Walsh. Johnny Winter "Mojo Boogie" and "Highway 61". There's the old Elmore James standared " Dust my Broom". ZZTop "Tush" and "Just got Paid". I could go on. I've played slide for a while. Sometimes I just play slide instead of a lead on any blues song.

Thanks I'll check these out.
Here are a couple of songs I did recently to show the sort of stuff I'm looking for.

"It hurts me too" - Clapton and Tedeschi both do pretty good slide versions.

You mentioned open G, but I assume you can also get around in open D/E. Some of my favs:
David Lindley and El Rayo X-"Brother John"
Little Feat-"Cold, Cold, Cold"
Foghat "Live" album- I know, it's FOGHAT, but Rod "The Bottle"" Price shows how it's done in a rock-n-roll setting
