telex76 August 12th, 2011, 03:55 PM Well after 2 plus years I finally got around to taking pics of my bender.
B&W bender in a 60's Classic.
You see the tension & tuner adjustment in top of body in back of neck, the strap activation, and the other pic shows bender finger behind saddle thru bridge plate.
rolling56 August 12th, 2011, 04:00 PM Nice, what does he charge for that? I think Bill lives near me in Springfield,MO?

Yes thats where he is. Check B&W website, I bought mine off E-bay for $800 which is a real good price considering what Classic 60's go for without a bender.
rolling56 August 17th, 2011, 04:34 PM I have a couple lefty non Fender teles i would like to have him install his bender........thanks for the info.

Ed Miller August 18th, 2011, 07:54 AM Does anyone have a current phone number or Email? I called his number and got a disconnect notice. Also, when I emailed him it bounced back as undelieverable.

I remember a few months ago someone was having trouble getting hold of him but I think they finally were able to. Hope another good bender place hasn't fallen by the wayside.
will hesch August 18th, 2011, 01:45 PM Bill's e-mail address is: bill.warford@sbcglobal.net and he usually gets back with you the same day, usually in the evening. He's still going strong...I hope, 'cause my Strat is on the calendar for a B-bender install September 12th.
BWNadeau August 18th, 2011, 09:46 PM Same here - never had any communiacation issues with Mr. W.

Very good to hear.
Ed Miller August 27th, 2011, 03:42 PM :cry:I finally did hear from him. I was disappointed to hear that the kit bender he offers is not a strap button pull. It pulls from the neck plate. The price is quite reasonable, but I don't like the feel of the strap button being down there.
hopper August 27th, 2011, 05:16 PM I just watched the demos at B&W Benders. Those are nice! How's he get those in the guitars with hardly any 'intrusion'? Is there any information on how they're made? I wouldn't blame them for keeping it secret, but that's just very cool.
I guess I'll go fool around with my EZ-Bender...

Much of the routing is done under the pickguard and bridgeplate with exception of the channels for the pullers etc... Furthermore, I am glad I have an esquire because I normally body mount my neck pickup. His mechanism intrudes on that area as well..
rolling56 August 28th, 2011, 01:31 PM hmmm i wondered what all he did to hide it like that.

I have a body mounted neck pickup in my B&W bender Tele, and his interior routing doesn't make any intrusion on the neck PU cavity.
I think there would only be an issue if you had a neck PU that required a deep, non-traditional rout like a Charlie Christian type PU.
hopper August 28th, 2011, 08:31 PM Ok, so how the heck does he do the LPs?

Interesting, one of the pull rods on mine is exactly where one of the screws would go... I don't have any desire to put in a neck pickup.. so all is good...

Under the pickguard? That's what I assumed but looking at the video of the pink paisley with the clear p'guard on his website there isn't much evidence of this.

I exchanged e-mails with Bill recently and he replied within 24-hours.
I'm looking to go a with a B&W as soon as I can work out how to get him one of bodies to and from the USA without paying a fortune in shipping charges.
 Peter

It was my understanding that the pockets were drilled. Again, I could be wrong.

Look at my neck pup, it's body mounted.
