Ya, Don rarely plays in standard tuning from what I've seen. He is quite the monster player and one hell of a nice guy too. I took one of his weekend retreat guitar courses a few years back when he had Andy McKee as a guest instructor....another brilliant player.

I was his neighbour for a while. Nice guy.

For the first while I had no idea he was a (monster) guitar player. A buddy of mine came by and said - that guy looks like Don Ross, the guitarist. I say "Well, his name's Don,but I've never heard him play." But, sure enough.

When did he cut his hair?
