Hey D.Allen,

I just stopped by your site after investigating P90s all night. Came across your stray cats that sound exactly like my cup of tea. I also read another of your posts regarding the wiring (A2 or A5)...I am guessing that these stray cats my be A2?

The bloke demoing your pickups, Jay Turser, states that he is from Charlotte...so I was hoping you might do your business in N.C. (I live in Raleigh and my brother in Charlotte) so that I could give your p-ups a try. However, it appears that you are based out of SanFran?

Either way, I've been planning my first tele build for a while now, and I'd love to chat with you about using your P-90s.

Hope all is well with you and yours,
Jayce

Or give me a call tomorrow at 650-576-5478 and let's talk P90's :-)

He was playing through a bolt amp. He likes an amp that plays clean and has a lot if headroom and power.

I just got a bluesman vintage with David's Crazy Cats pickups. They are split coils so lots to play with. Wonderful tone....Thanks David for the great pickups and Johnny sounds awesome.

I'm sure they are great pickups. Less sure you can learn anything about them from listening to heavily compressed audio on YouTube with a world class guitarist who could make any pickup sound amazing.

Thank Bud. It was a pleasure working with Johnny to make these sets. We should have a Tele set out next month and maybe a Nashville Tele set too.

Didn't you know they come with a magic potion that will make you play like Johnny?

I love my Johnnybucker! I'm actually planning on building a Tele using the Johnnybucker in the bridge and the Hot Vintage Tele pickup in the neck...
