Awesome... So, now that I know when the local store stocks their inventory, I headed out with the intention of picking up a couple of nice and cheap pedals. I was staring at some plastic Behringer pedals, a DS-1 (dread), Cool Cat distortions, and a hellbabe wah.
I found a compressor thinking that it'll be very useful with some finger picking. I heard some online demos of some compressors and that persuaded me to buy one. Unfortunately, it had absolutely NO effect on my sound. It 'compressed' my sound about 20%, and I notice almost no difference. I do not recommend this pedal. The comp looks like a MXR supercomp, but it's absolutely USELESS.
As I was looking about the section of new and used pedals, I stumbled upon some DD7s and some used Wahs. I then noticed an Ibanez TS-7. Being a 'newbie', I picked it up and I thought that it would be a cheap alternative to the TS-9. I then noticed that there was this cool little switch that was labelled 'bright' and 'TS-9'. The ugliest pedal that I own is one of my favourites.
I currently run a SD-1, the TS-7, a phaser, and the compressor (ugh). Is there a way that I can use one of the ODs as the distortion and the other as the OD? Currently, I have my SD-1 with the following settings:
- Level @ 12 o'clock
- Tone @ 2.5 o' clock
- Drive @ 11 o' clock
I'd like to use the SD-1 as my OD and TS-7 as the distortion - any way?
Thanks a LOT
