Remember this thread:

http://www.tdpri.com/forum/just-pickups/266178-emg-users-anyone-using-spc-tone-pot.html#post3349710

Determined to get the SPC pot working, I ordered a new pickguard with thread holes drilled for a volume, passive tone and SPC tone pot and fitted it today.

Now I get it!

I've only tried it through my nighttime practice rig, but I get a whole variety of tones by using the passive tone and then what I'm going to call the "angry" pot, the SPC control pot.

I originally wired it with just the SPC pot and the volume pot, but this has great potential.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm a happy bunny!

I'll post pictures tomorrow.

I read the other threads linked to the one you linked to. This is interesting. I'd love to hear sound samples of this and your experience.

I'll have a go at recording the differnces. I'm battling a hand problem at the moment and haven't gigged for 8-months but I'll do my best.
