I've got a Nashville tele with the Tex Mex pickups stock.
I have added a Callaham 3 steel saddle compensated bridge assembly, which really woke it up.
I like the bridge pickup, nice and semi-hot and yet cleans up and twangs well too. The middle Strat pickup isn't too bad.
But the neck just seems lifeless and anemic. Its to the point its almost unusable. I just can''t get it to sing the way I can the other two, even by adjusting it up or down.
Does anyone have any reccomendations for a replacment that would pair well with the Tex mex bridge and middle ?
Thanks folks !

I put the Bill Lawrence pups in the middle and neck of my Nashville and noticed a terrific improvement. I'm especially digging the second position with both pickups, but am now very pleased with the neck pickup on its own. The price was great too.

A Keystone or Nocaster neck would be a super addition.

Is the Keystone a Lawrence pickup ? Who makes the Nocaster ?
And will these be hot enough to balance with the Tex mex Bridge ?

Ya they should go well with the bridge. The Keystone (yes Bill Lawrence) deluxe and FENDER Nocaster sound very similar and should really sound sweet with the middle as they are "Strat" like in tone.
Either one is North top polarization as well (as is your Tex Mex) so you would retain the noise cancel with your middle which is RW/RP.
You could email them to check on buying just a neck pup. Second one down "Deluxe T Set"

Another nice thing to do to a Nashville is add a push/pull pot so you can get the neck and bridge together like a regular Tele.

Thanks folks ! I've got an email into Becky and Bill to learn more about the Keystones.
Sjtalon, Is there a diagram somewhere that shows how to wired in the push pull to achieve the neck and bridge pickup combo for a Nashvile Tele ?

Neck on ( to any switch position so you can even have all 3 ON)
Make sure that the terminal on your switch is the neck one, like this diagram.
For orientation- where the words "push-pull pot" are would be the pot end of the p/p pot
http://www.guitar-mod.com/wiring/neck_on_howto.gif
replace the tone pot with a p/p as there is more room under that (routed out more in the cavity)
That's it.

Stick a P90 in the neck, like Richard Thompson's Ferrington.
