Can't figure out how to start an album

Help! I want to post some pics of my guitars and read the FAQs about posting pictures. The first line said this: As a member, you can create Albums of images that are linked to your public profile. Albums can be created by visiting the User Control Panel, and clicking on the 'Pictures & Albums' link, and then clicking on 'Add Album'.

I went to the User Control Panel, but I cannot for the life of me find the "Pictures & Albums" link. I know I'm not very observant, but I'm not blind either. Where are y'all hiding this link??

The FAQ's don't relate to our Photo Gallery. They refer to a built in Gallery that we do not use. We purchased our own Photo Gallery 6 years before our forum software included on in their package.

Simply click on "Photos" on the menubar and go from there.

Thanks for your help. I was able to create an album. I then tried to upload a pic from my hard drive. The software said it uploaded successfully, but I cannot find it anywhere when I go to call it up. Have I done something wrong? The photo was a .jpg file that's in my picture gallery.

More than likely it failed to upload because it was too large. Did you edit it to less than 1000 px by 1000 px and less than 300,000 bytes? If not it will fail to upload.

Got it! Was able to figure out how to resize the pic and got two of them uploaded successfully. Thanks again for all your help.
