Parsons White in Thin Line2blue May 30th, 2011, 09:43 AM Can it be done?:?: HOBBSTER01 May 30th, 2011, 09:49 AM I've seen P/G in a thinline home brew http://www.tdpri.com/forum/tele-home-depot/178480-building-thinline-p-g-bender.html but not a P/W. I would say no without knowing due to the lack of support available for the mechanism. HOBBSTER01 May 30th, 2011, 09:51 AM I stand corrected. The bender guitar shop has pics. 2blue May 30th, 2011, 10:01 AM Can't find that pic, how about a link, thanks HOBBSTER01 May 30th, 2011, 10:03 AM http://www.benderguitars.com/images/gallery/thinline_pw_b/fm_pw_b_008878w.html HOBBSTER01 May 30th, 2011, 10:07 AM Email Forrest Lee Jr. He's doing acoustic benders and may have some input. ForrestLeeJr@hotmail.com 2blue May 30th, 2011, 10:07 AM Thanks Hobbster! moonshiner May 30th, 2011, 11:27 AM It's possible.. Fender CS made some. A gentlemen 'round here had one.. Bill over at B&W says he'll install his in a Thinline as well... maxdram June 1st, 2011, 02:04 AM I installed a PG bender in a thinline just as I do a standard telecaster. I just added a extra 1/8 inch under the thin skin for the screws that needed a little extra meat. Regards Horton |
