Thanks! TDPRI May 27th, 2011, 10:40 AM You have corrupted browser cookies. Read the "Can't Stay Logged In" Sticky in this forum on how to deal with this. You had to go right by it to post your question. Beachbum May 27th, 2011, 11:38 AM Lately I have had to sign in almost every day.Used to be one sign in was good for a long ,long time. Why is this happening? Any remedy? Thanks! I had the same problem and because I like to post a lot of photos it was a real PITA. You might take a look at using "Opera" instead of "IE". "Opera" has a very useful feature called "Speed Dial" where can save all of your "log in" type web pages. It shows a screen shot of of all your saved web pages. The first time you log in you just push "save" and Speed Dial" will remain active until you change it. Then each time you want to log in you only have to click on the blue colored "key" icon on your tool bar and it will log you in without having to type anything. I've got all my favorite forums on it. Whats great is that you have them all in one place and can easily jump back and forth for example from Photo Bucket to TDPRI etc. One tip though, if you decide to use "Opera" it has a feature called "Turbo". It's supposed to speed things up but what it really does is rob your graphics memory so if you do a lot of photos in "Turbo" mode you won't see them very well until you turn it off. TDPRI May 27th, 2011, 05:28 PM He just has corrupted cookies as I said, you did as well it seems. So, yeah, changing to a new browser client without corrupted cookies will instantly fix the problem. But so does following the steps in the Sticky here in this forum about how to deal with this issue. No browser change needed. If you log in and then are immediately logged out as you move around the page to try to make a new thread/post then the problem is your browser cookies have gotten corrupted. Here's how you correct this: Corrupted browser cookies. 1. Open ONE browser window 2. Go to tdpri 3. Click LOG OUT 4. Close the browser window 5. Reopen your browser and come back to TDPRI 6. Log in and click "remember me" If that doesn't work you need to delete ALL of your browser cookies. PS. It will not work if more than one browser window is open at the time. |
