Aaron will make whatever you want, great prices too
DOGMA Dunn May 22nd, 2011, 05:18 PM I don't know what sounds best to you, but to me the classic sound of the alnico sounds good.
Dellis May 22nd, 2011, 05:22 PM I always hear good things about Tone Riders, my experience with them is limited to a Strat set, which I found to be fairly good but not knock-out... I would have for something a little better, otherwise you will always want more. Don Mare and Lollar have a sterling reputation, though I've found the markedly cheaper Fender Nocaster set to be rather wonderful, and great for rock/blues... though, of course, this depends on the amp.

boosh May 22nd, 2011, 06:10 PM Have had a tonerider hot classic bridge pickup and I think for what you are looking for it would be perfect. I had it wired with a Tonerider rocksong humbucker in the neck position and the two were a great match. Have you considered a bucker in the neck? gives you some extra options for the sort of stuff you want to play, but you get to retain the single coil in the bridge
tumbleweed69 May 22nd, 2011, 10:09 PM i like dimarzio twang kings, great for country, switch to bridge only, lower tone a little, distortion on,know ugot killer ac/dc, zz-top, pure velvet series by dimarzio is a little smoother ,not sure what ur playin, both are good choices, good luck

I really want to try those set, but Tonerider is hard to get here.
To the OP, Keystones is also a great choice for your application.

that actually sounds like it would be perfect, but there's one problem, i can't seem to find any place (even online) that offers them for the tele. could you provide me with a link?
