got me a ta-15 yesterday. still playing with all the knobs and switches, but this little head sounds like anything you want it to! got it hooked up to a 2X12 cab and it sounds good!
i got a feeling that this will be my last amp.

I bought one about a month ago. It is a great little amp isn't it. I wanted a Vox AC15 and this sounds more like a Vox than the currant Vox Ac15 IMO. Then it does Fender Marshall and Boogie. It's just a whole lot of fun. And cute to.

I've got some really nice tube amps besides this but this is with out a doubt the best bedroom amp I've ever had. Sound incredible at low volume. I'm using mine with a 2x12 half stack Sovtek cab with Celestion Relics and it does every thing you'd want a amp to do. I've got lots of pedals that I dearly love but I don't seem to ever add dirt to this amp. Just doesn't need it .

I got one last summer and I really like this little amp. A little noise when I switch channels but flexible sound wise :smile

Well not so good,TA15 is in the shop for repairs. Seems it has a bias problem on the red channel in the 25watt mode. Tubes start to cook and the sound goes away. It has been out for repair for about 2 weeks now. Sent it to place of purchase Not MESA as they have been working with me better than Boogie to fix the problem..

The store contacted me today and cross my fingers the amp is fixed. They claim it is just bad tubes because of the high voltages and poor quality of current EL84 tubes. They also did some sort of relay mute upgrade for a factory service bulletin. Waiting to get the amp back and try it out. Anybody having problems with Mesa brand EL84 tubes? I have put 3 sets in this amp in one year. May try JJ or New issue Mullard tubes if I have any more problems.

Tried out the TA 30 the other day and was very impressed. You can get bedroom breakup or full blown, with plenty of clean. Heard some tones, and I emphasize plural, out of my AV52 that I hadn't heard before.

My only dilemma is the speakers. While I think 2X12 Celestion 30s would be nice, I was teased by an Eminence Tone Center that has four distinct speakers. We ran all four thru the TA and I fell in love with three: The Red Fang (alnico), the Governor and the Screamin Eagle. I want them all.

Well TA-15 is back home today, Great. Bad news is now it has loud 60 cycle hum on green channel 15 or 25 watt mode. Not sure why maybe they forgot a ground when they did the relay upgrade. The plan was to sell the amp and move on to something else. The store I purchased it from after a few phone calls and emails (they also did the repairs and update) emailed me that they think the amp is unrepairable and want to send me a new amp to try as they feel my amp problems are not the norm for this amp. Wow what great customer service, this is over one year after I purchased the amp (warranty has expired by 3 months). Boogie was not much help but it is nice to find a good retail store that has great customer service.

Right here dude! :)

Running mine through a 1x12 open back 23" Mesa Transatlantic cab. I tried the TA-15 through a few cabs, including an Orange 1x12 (which I really wanted based on looks lol) and a small Rectifier cab, but it really shone through the matching TA cab, so that's what I went with.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this amp!

All Mesa Amps have a 5 year transferable warranty.

Hey can one of my TA-15 brethren do me a favor please? On the 'vox' side, place your amp on low wattage setting, dime the gain (or close to it), and then turn the master volume all the way down. (so the master is pulled out)

Play your guitar... do you get a little bit of sound coming through your amp (very little)? The master is all the way down. And then, if you turn up the master just a little bit, does the volume actually go DOWN a little, and the sound is really weird, like the notes sort of 'die' or taper off in a strange way? Once you move the master up just a smidge, it starts to sound 'normal' again.

Only does this on my amp on this particular setting, and only if the volume is really low. Does it in normal and top boost on this side of the amp.
