New Bender build underway...hwy145 May 10th, 2011, 11:27 AM Couldn't wait until it was done. The body will arrive at Forrest Lee jr's today. It is an MJT double bound two tone sunburst with a fat rosewood neck, Don Mare Hayrides, and an RS modern wiring kit. J Bennett made a cool logo for it as well. May be longer if he likes it. hwy145 May 24th, 2011, 11:35 AM It is back from the shop, assembled and ready to rock! I've had it for a couple of days, but I haven't posted, because I don't want to put it down. Let me say this first, above all. Forrest is the MAN! He is easy to work with, and fast. The work was excellent, and the function of the bender is perfect. . I like the ability to adjust the throw and tension if I choose. I'll be sending my #1 his way just as soon as I gather the scratch! The guitar itself plays wonderfully. I do have a bit of a pingy g string issue, but have yet to really take any steps to resolve it. I have an awesome guit-fiddle with a bender weighing in at just under 7.5 lbs, and I couldn't be happier!
