Server is S-L-O-W

How come when I log in early in the a.m. it takes forever loading a page between log in and typing a response/or going between threads and forums? thanks

Server is fast -- you've got an issue on your end. There are no slow downs at present.

By the way, you are 1000 miles closer to the server than I am, and I'm on the forums here 10 hours a day all day every day. It's instantaneous, or nearly, here.

I don't know if being closer presents a faster download. Every other site I go to at this hour is nice and fast save for this one site. Go figure right. thanks

Sorry that you are having any issues. Please keep in mind we have hundreds of thousands of folks here on any given day -- and if you are the only one with a problem with the site's speed then it pretty much has to be something on your end that's causing the problem.

We can fix things on our end, but unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to fix things on your end.

There are probably 20-30 router hops between you and the Server.

16 from here and Nashville is close to Atlanta hops wise, thus the backbone.

pop out to a cmd prompt and type tracert tdpri.com and you will see which hop is stalling I'd bet

Still very very slow with this site, especially early hours of the a.m. Every other site I visit at this time before I go to work responds very fast so I know it ain't me babe, to paraphrase. thanks
