I figured out how to block a member but I was wondering if there is a way to block an entire forum, thanks

Blocking a forumBluej58 May 1st, 2011, 12:38 PM I figured out how to block a member but I was wondering if there is a way to block an entire forum, thanks TDPRI May 1st, 2011, 07:05 PM No, there's not. Why would you need to block a forum? Just don't visit that forum. syrynx May 2nd, 2011, 01:51 AM It would be a great convenience for me if I could eliminate Bad Dog Cafe posts from New Posts or Today on the TDPRI search results. I'm fairly strong, and view only a tiny percentage of threads in that forum. But, in the relatively brief time I've been here, some posters' names have earned auto-instaclicks from me, regardless of topic. It would be much easier to resist such threads if I didn't see 'em in the first place. TDPRI May 2nd, 2011, 10:37 AM Don't use "New Posts" or "Today on the TDPRI" is the obvious answer. Sorry, it's the best we can do. Durtdog May 2nd, 2011, 11:02 AM Is this a Monty Python skit or something? devnulljp May 3rd, 2011, 04:04 PM There is a way to do this -- they do it over on TGP (http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=774673) |
