After 2 years of a hipshot I've taken the next step!!!!! I emailed Bill at B&W Benders to set a date!!!!!! ( to install a b Bender of coarse after all I'm a happily married man )
In case you can't tell I'm excited. The price was great and I like the look of his stuff. I'm tempted to do a b and g Bender but I'm afraid it may be a pain.
Anyone regret getting a double Bender?

Anyone regret getting a double Bender?
I've played bender guitars since 1997 when I got my first Fender B bender tele. I played it with many modifications for the next 13 years as my main guitar.
As a backup bender guitar project, I bought a Timara B/G bender tele . It was very cool for the money
I sold it to start more of my own building. The second of my own builds was a Hybrid B/g Bill Bores bender tele. Parsons style B, and Saddle G benders. I did like having the double bender guitars, but a single B is much less to think about and was more natural for me. I am planning a McVay bender into one of the two guitars that I'm building right now.

I got My double from Forrest a couple Years ago and while I love having both (My set up is like Chets' with a P/W style B and a saddle G ) The B sees 99% of the action,I just didn't wanna go through the "What ifs" over the G a couple Years down the road, so I went with the double .So as far as regrets? None........Other than the one about not being more proficient with both. If You think You will want it later and You can swing it .......why not?

Thanks guys. The good thing is that I have time to save the extra money if I do want the double rig. Im excited though. I don't know much about b&w Benders but they look good.

You're going to love having the bender! I've never played a BW, but I had a Glaser many years ago. What guitar are you going to have it put in?

Its a custom tele built by Curtis Novak. I have a pic of it with my amp in another thread. Great guitar. Light weight with loads of twang. I try and do a link.
