Do they work as advertised? My Nocaster bridge seems harsh at times and I am looking for something with sweeter highs however I don't need a hotter output. Sugestions?

Sugestions? I think that 5-2 mellows the bridge out too much, so it looses twang and bite in my opinion. Colt W. Knight April 17th, 2011, 09:54 PM I would recommend wiring in a resistor to tame down that harshness you are talking about. Its a worthwhile 1.50$ experiment. flag72 April 18th, 2011, 11:11 PM do you have a photo of that resistor being use, were doe's it go and wath brand is the resistor ...lol thank you nic'o'caster April 19th, 2011, 11:03 AM Yes, the Duncan Five Two work as advertised but I find the neck pickup a bit too soft even if when it's dialed correctly (treble at max on the amp) it sounds awesome ! Tele-Monster April 19th, 2011, 11:12 AM Its not as good as the broadcaster or nocaster IMO. It sounds good driven though. I use a Fralin BS in my #1 and its the shiznit. |
