Hi
I was wondering whether anyone has any experince with these dyes as the are quite cheap.
I am refering to these

They are like 5 pounds a pot on ebay and apart from the reranch dyes which costs a ton to ship over here i havnt found anything else.

I would go all out and buy thenm but they are acrylic baised and i was wondering has anyone ever used them and shot a nitrocellulose finish over them.
I emailed them to check if it was okay to be used in conjunction with a nitro clear and they said they havnt tested it out.

Thanks

Or these from LMI (http://www.lmii.com/CartTwo/thirdproducts.asp?CategoryName=Dyes&NameProdHeader=Aniline+Dyes+Water+Soluble) that are only $4.24 which is approx 2.60. Perfectly formulated for finishing guitars and suitable to go under any type of finish. I can't remember the exact shipping cost when I bought some last month but it wasn't that expensive.

I've only got the nitrocellulose sanding sealer on so far, but working fine at the moment. I'm starting with the gloss lacquer tomorrow. I chose these dyes because they are pretty inert and will work under almost any finish.

Here's mine so far.
