I was checking out tremolo pedals and was watching the proguitarshop demo on the diamond trem and it has a really cool pulsating rhythm effect at around 6.25.
I haven't heard that pulsating effect before in a trem - do others do it or is it unique to Diamond as it's quite neat.

First I've heard that also, but I believe the Lightfoot Labs Goatkeeper tremolo and the Z.Vex Seek-Trem or Z.Vex Tremorama will accomplish the same thing, albeit without the extra bells and whistles offered in Diamond's stutter-fest.

The goatkeeper is a pretty interesting tremolo, the customisation is really interesting, although there's a lack of demos of it on youtube unfortunately. I thought I had found a clip of it doing the pulsating, then closed it and can't find it again lolz.

I own the Diamond and like the variety of tempos you can get.
Its a great sounding tremolo that sounds great: clean or overdriven.
The tap tempo is a great feature.

Its pretty much an extreme square wave trem with an extra LFO put in to get that sort of rhythmic pulse. Your right the goatkeeper does do that well!
