I think I've killed my pickup selector.

I was playing my Tele and everything was completely normal. I was going between pickups like I always do. Then all of a sudden I tried to switch from the middle position to the bridge and it was kind of "Stuck" in the middle position. The bridge pickup works because if you tap it, it's on, but it isn't switching to just the bridge. Also the volume and tone knobs work in the bridge pickup mode even though the bridge isn't by itself.

So wiring, solder or bad switch? I just bought it about 2 weeks ago from GC. DO you think they'll fix it for free?? or do I need to whip out the iron and do it myself?

Why not just remove (2) screws on the control plate and have a look ?

I did and didn't see anything wrong. It's all good though. It bugged out on all the slots and I just took it back and they replaced the guitar. It was most likely a boned switch or cold solder joint.

Use CRL or Oak-Grigsby. Don't use that MIC Alpha junk. The Alpha gets this:

I know a couple of truckstops that could use one of those, Fezz.
