Thanks! I didnt build it up from the ground up, but put it together forom various sources, with some help along the way. I did do the finish work. Here's the thread on the overall build:

robt57 April 15th, 2011, 12:39 PM Thanks for the accommodation, is it a Baritone scale ? Or just tuned accordingly??
norumba April 15th, 2011, 12:43 PM its a regular scale (25 1/2) --- tuned CGCGCF, low to high, which is based off a sarod tuning. Best way to describe what we do is India/Middle Eastern punk jazz :)

Fairly obvious I'd say, I was getting a bit of a taste of Shankar and Mclachlan in my ears mouth. ;) Nice work, what I listened to so far.. ;)
EDIT: Enjoyed your interpretations on the vids and use of the instrument!!
Sandia Man April 15th, 2011, 03:04 PM I'm sorry to have missed this, it sounds interesting

isaacoh April 15th, 2011, 03:52 PM Hey, did you make that Klein-ish thing there, too? I'd like to know more about that... Excited to see the performance!
norumba April 15th, 2011, 08:03 PM no that was made by Rick Canton (http://www.cantoncustomguitars.com/Home.html) up in Santa Fe... Allan Holdsworth's actually is playing some of his guitars now...nice to see a local builder making a name for himself!
Looked at the long shot footage today from the gig; it'll actually be a week or so before i can get the camera 2 footage. Performances are ok, but cam sound is really bad - makes guit tone sound like ass and the drums eat up all the low mid space. Sound may be better from cam 2...
norumba April 21st, 2011, 11:57 AM went ahead and posted some "rafter cam" video on the Twanger Central subforum (http://www.tdpri.com/forum/twanger-central/271612-fretless-tele-also-oud-jam-band-content.html), including a fretless Tele bit....
