4.3 Billion posts???

Really? I was on the Members list and reverse sorted by number of posts and there are individuals on there with billions of posts. Please, tell me this isn't the case. :shock:

There was a guy a while back who was selling a set of Don Mare pickups in the classifieds and he had the million post thing you are talking about, and on top of that I have NEVER seen him on here. It was fishy to me and it was to a few other people on here as well. I dont see how it would be possilbe to get that many so it is definetly a little fishy IMO.

Maybe TDPRI could way in here and tell us what is up I bet they know better then anybody.. :wink:

It's probably a hack that someone came up with for sites running vbulletin such as this one. Just a guess.

This has been discussed previously. We have an issue that does this and we can't find the culprit. Once every few weeks I go in and reset them. The vast majority are new members without any posts. We think it's the Classifieds that does it, but we can't find out what does this and we can't recreate it at will. So, we can't fix it. YET!

4294967295 is MAXINT minus 1, so looks like a signed negative 4-byte number prob. I vaguely remember there being issues like this on older MySQL on Windows. I'll have to blast some cobwebs out of my brain but you might want to look at the db version -- I thought this was fixed ... I ran into something similar years ago on a DNA sequence database I was building.
