D. Allen pickups

Anybody tried the D. Allen pickups ? How's the tone and quality ? I'm getting a set of the CS Austin Blues pickups !

They are talked about very highly over at the sister site, Strattalk.com

I wish he made a flat pole, non-staggered set that us lefties could use.
I will need a set of Strat p/u's in a few months.

Expo. Great sounding p.u.'s for not a lot of $. :smile:
