Removing Glued on Neck

What's the best way to do it?

A little background - I'm planning on making a semi-hollow body, but feel like making a neck from scratch is a bit out of my league right now, so I plan to snatch one off of a guitar.

One of these, to be exact. I'm gonna take the hardware and such off it too. (any thoughts on these guitars would be appreciated as well).

So, I want to take off the neck without damaging the body. I realize I could just saw the thing off, but I'd like to keep the body intact. I'm also planning on bolting on the neck to the new body rather than gluing it in.

Thoughts?

Thanks fellow forumers!

Is the neck just glued into a pocket?
Maybe the same technique used for acoustics. Pull a fret over the pocket, drill a hole
down to the joint, and inject steam. Try looking at some topics over at
the "theunoficialmartinguitarforum.com",
removing glued on necks comes up there now and then.

But that pertains to hide glue, I think.

Go to Frank Ford's site, frets.com.
He covers it and he's among the best.
