Up-tempo worship songs on acoustic

I'm playing at a retreat in a few weeks, and am looking for up-tempo worship song ideas, but songs that will still sound good with just an acoustic & vocal. In my experience, there are a lot of up-tempo songs that sound great when a full band is playing, but then just end up sounding weak when played on just an acoustic.

Go to Paul Baloche's website: http://www.leadworship.com/
He even offers a free songbook download.

Lots of Steven Curtis Chapman stuff can be played on a single acoustic and sound great. Joel Hanson (formally in PFR) also has some great songs that are awesome on an acoustic only.

You can pretty much modify any song for acoustic... We've done songs like happy day acoustically...

Pretty cool. I like how you can hear the song and download the player sheets all on the same page. Thanks!

That is probably one of my favorite songs to play and one of the only ones I can multi-task well enough to sing along with it and sound decent.

Free by Hillsong United, has a really nice groove & doesn't come out cheesy or too much "jangle-jangle-jangle"
